The experience at the plant nursery was truly radiant;
I loved seeing the planters.
Now I’m at a restaurant; their motto is “eat with art.”
And at the entrance, there’s another planter—a huge yellow one—
holding a banana plant.
The young woman who served me was incredibly kind.
I have a beautiful view of the sea.
The place has a wonderfully Almodóvar-esque atmosphere;
it feels very familiar to me. In a way, I’ve always been here,
and just like that, I found myself in tears.
And it’s perfect, being here and now,
feeling all these emotions that stem from nostalgia.
Feeling all the world's stances—every single one,
every stance—within myself.
So, I ordered some variegated scallops and oxtail.
I wasn't quite sure whether to eat the scallops with a spoon or a fork.
I tried both utensils, just to see which felt more natural.
They were delicious—well-seasoned and with a nice, slightly crisp texture.
Then the oxtail arrived, and the waiter warned me, "Careful, it's hot!"
Since it was a lot of food, I took the oxtail home in a container,
and the waiter said, "Well, at least you didn't throw it away!"
Then, back home, I cooked it again—my own way.
I added spinach, a bit of ginger, and a drizzle of honey.
And it turned out really good.
De algún modo siempre he estado aquí,
