"Love begins where the heart finally finds a place to rest."
During my journey through Peru, I discovered this delicate white calla emerging quietly from the surrounding darkness. Its graceful curves immediately evoked something beyond the flower itself: the quiet strength of human connection.
To me, it became the portrait of a woman who has traveled through life carrying both hope and solitude, still believing that one day she will find not only love, but also a soulmate, a best friend, and a true companion. Resting her head upon the shoulder of the person she trusts completely, she discovers a place where vulnerability becomes strength and silence becomes peace.
The simplicity of black and white removes every distraction, allowing the language of form, light, and shadow to express emotions that words often cannot. Rather than depicting a flower, the photograph becomes a quiet meditation on trust, tenderness, and the profound comfort of feeling safe in another's presence.
