“Where the mountains awaken, fields of hope begin to bloom.”
Created during the first year of my artistic journey, Valley of Crocuses was inspired by a photograph taken in the Carpathian Mountains of Ukraine — my Motherland. The painting captures a peaceful field of blooming crocuses stretching toward distant mountains beneath the gentle light of sunrise.
For me, this work is a celebration of nature’s awakening and the quiet beauty of spring. The crocuses symbolize hope, renewal, and resilience, while the mountains reflect strength, peace, and eternity. The warm rising sun brings a feeling of freedom and new beginnings.
Through expressive palette knife textures and luminous colors, I sought to convey not only the beauty of the Ukrainian Carpathians, but also my deep emotional connection to the land of my roots. This painting is a tribute to Ukraine, memory, and the enduring beauty carried within the heart.
The original painting is held in a private collection. Limited edition fine art giclée prints on canvas are available upon request.
