“Where light becomes skin, and the sea remembers softness.”
Inspired by a photograph taken by the artist in Cuba, Hibiscus Sky transforms a coastal memory into a poetic meditation on femininity, light, and nature. A hibiscus flower replaces the artist’s own figure within the landscape, becoming a symbol of softness and quiet presence suspended between sea, sky, and wind.
Layers of ocean, distant shore, and luminous atmosphere dissolve into one flowing horizon, where the body and landscape seem to merge. Part of the Infinity Bay collection, the painting invites the viewer into a serene sensory space where memory, warmth, and light gently become one.
Original painting held in a private collection. Limited-edition, hand-embellished archival giclées available upon request. Each print is individually enhanced by the artist with textured varnish, faithfully echoing the original brushwork.
