Dreaming Flower – Luna / Chang’e reinterprets the moon goddess of Chinese mythology as a contemporary apparition. Through overlapping layers of portrait, orchids, reflected water and nocturnal landscape, the image unfolds as a space of metamorphosis. Photography, digital elaboration and artificial intelligence intertwine to generate a suspended vision in which myth, memory and feminine presence converge. Chang’e appears as an elusive and luminous figure, poised between nature and artifice, intimacy and distance, earthly beauty and celestial longing.
.Dreaming Flower IA is a collection born from the dialogue between direct observation, photography and digital experimentation. The works originate from images captured during travels through cities near Shanghai and Zhuji, combined with floral elements encountered in those landscapes. These materials are layered and transformed through artificial intelligence, then further reworked by hand, restoring a physical and authorial presence to the final artwork. Printed on Hahnemühle 350 gsm museum paper in limited editions of 1/5, the series combines archival quality, technological research and human gesture. The collection was exhibited at the Hong Museum in Shanghai in November 2025, and the first work from the series was acquired by the museum, reinforcing its connection to the cultural context in which it was conceived.
