This painting depicts the small church of Saint George on Perun, a real place overlooking the Dalmatian coast. Perched between sea and sky, this historic site carries layers of memory, spirituality, and local tradition. Through vibrant Mediterranean colors and expressive brushwork, I wanted to capture not only the beauty of the landscape but also the unique light of Dalmatia, the warmth of summer, and the timeless connection between nature, history, and the human spirit.
