I create mixed media collages inspired by nature, urban life and architecture. I layer textures, paper, photos and paint into stories that invite the viewer to explore deeper meanings. This is a collage on paper and it has a relief. It is made of paper, wrapping paper and acrylic paint. In this collage, I experimented with form, calour and relief. My interest was to create a three dimensional collage by creating a relief from various layers of paper. For this reason I used a total of five to six layers of paper which I arranged differently on the surface. After that I cut and tore the layers of paper apart or I glued them together in a new order. In fact, in my paper artworks the process of creation is often very physical because I destroy, divide, tear, assemble and make something new out of the elements. The destruction becomes part of the creative process. During the process of creation I take spontaneous decisions and accidents happen, there is often chaos. The chaos is as well part of the creative process and will find its order in the end.
