The collection “Bad Girls” draws inspiration from several female figures of Greco-Roman mythology who, historically cast as embodiments of a negative archetype, now become a starting point for reflection on what it means to be a woman in the contemporary world.
Kìrke, Phaedra, Pasiphaë, Ariadne, and Medea emerge today as conscious and determined women, courageous in confronting their most intimate nature. Kìrke is a woman fully aware of her deepest self; she embraces her spirit and, with determination, refuses to deny her instincts, despite being fully conscious of the burden she must bear.
Marquetry works created using Tabu Wood veneers in birch, carbalho oak, maple, frisé eucalyptus, ash, figured plane tree, figured oak, sycamore, and frisé tanganika.
