Touch (Daft Punk) is a song that has always intrigued me. Its scenic atmosphere creates a context for the voice as a character, and the music itself as the setting, the stage, and the sound design for this character's transformation as she transitions between a cosmic-digital world and a terrestrial-mortal one.
When the theme Electroctopus emerged in my work, along with the editing of the Manifesto, I decided to create a music video for Touch, which I've always loved, as a loving thank you to Daft Punk for the inspiration.
