The Camouflage in Plastic series is an essay on the very name of the Electroctopus project. They are charcoal drawings on fabric, later resined with electronic waste. Along with the Electroctopus Manifesto came this series. Three pieces were made, one of which was the project's first order and the other was Honorable Mention at the D. Fernando II Prize, in Sintra (2021) and is part of the 2011-2021 Prize Awards Catalog of the Faculty of Fine Arts of Lisbon.
"Electroctopus is an artistic investigation that begins in 2021. It is an aesthetic and conceptual metaphor for the cyborg, planet-devouring being that we are transmuting into during the digital era."
