In my opinion the age of hand-tools predicted a sustainable future, however, industrialisation exploits our energy resources in a growing extent. The enlarged versions of these tools appear in my works, in a self-reflective way, creating a material role-exchange, communicating the disintegration of proportions and balance. In this situation the saw protects the tree.
The saw was located in an arboretum area where it protects a native area with its sharp teeth. Here, visitors can get to know the characteristics of this oak area, while resting on the blade of the saw, they can admire the beautiful Lake Balaton and the forest atmosphere.
