Mi ha sempre sedotto
l’“ora blu”, appena prima del buio,
o prima del sorgere del sole, quando
la luce si colora di tonalità tendenti
all’azzurro tenue e al grigio-blu.
I contorni opalescenti degli oggetti e l’atmosfera impalpabile del paesaggio mi hanno
ispirato un’opera onirica. Essa è una costruzione rettangolare di legno avvolta da teli di un grigio
perlaceo con nuance leggermente argentate su cui ho cucito sagome geometriche.
Simili a colonne d’Ercole, le geometrie verticali sono metafore, invitano a spingersi oltre il limite del conosciuto, verso la
soglia, per il costante desiderio di conoscere sé stessi, scoprire e sapere. La luce azzurra sprigionata dal neon
dentro la tenda, quando è accesa, crea un chiarore diffuso
e un’atmosfera di contemplazione. Su due
pareti sono previste stampe di immagini fotografiche con
le lievità del pastello; esse ritraggono particolari di fiori, nuvole, tracce
di una performance eseguita fuori dal mio studio, sul Lago d’Orta, all’alba
intorno alla tenda. Esse introdurranno nell’atmosfera del sogno e
potranno creare uno spazio mentale rarefatto in cui ogni spettatore
potrà entrare.
La tenda, al centro
della
scenografia può diventare “porta iniziatica”.
Il focus qui
è su
colui che esperisce.
L’installazione mira
a svelare
a ciascuno le coordinate del proprio personale mondo fluttuante e onirico.

I have always been seduced by the
'blue hour', just before dark, or in the morning, before the sun rises, when
the light is coloured in shades tending towards soft blue and grey-blue.
The opalescent borders of the objects
and the impalpable atmosphere of the landscape inspired me to create a
dreamlike work.
It is a rectangular construction
wrapped in sheets of pearly grey with slightly silvery hues onto which I sewed
geometric shapes. Similar to columns of Hercules, the vertical geometries are
metaphors, inviting one to push beyond the limits of the known, towards the
threshold, out of a constant desire to know oneself, to discover and to know.
The blue light from the neon inside
the tent, when lit, creates a diffuse glow and an atmosphere of
contemplation.
On two walls there will be prints of
images( photography) with the lightness of pastel; they depict details of
flowers, clouds, traces of a performance performed outside my studio, on Lake
Orta, at dawn around the tent. They introduce the atmosphere of the dream and
can create a rarefied mental space into which each spectator can enter.
The tent, at the centre of the
scenography can become an 'initiatory door'.
The focus here is on the experiencer.
The installation aims to reveal to
each person the coordinates of their own personal floating, dreamlike world.
