This canvas explores the concept of the Sardinian unfinished as a trace of collective memory. The forms appear fragmented, irregular, almost worn by time, evoking unfinished walls, lived surfaces, and symbols passed down through generations.
The dance is not represented in its perfect form, but through essential signs that suggest presence, relationship, and belonging. Wine settles onto the canvas in an unpredictable and living way, revealing a material that seems to breathe and transform. Wool embroidery introduces the human and domestic gesture, while gold leaf illuminates imperfections, transforming them into value and memory.

Questa tela esplora il non finito sardo come traccia della memoria collettiva. Le forme appaiono frammentate, irregolari, quasi consumate dal tempo, evocando muri incompleti, superfici vissute e simboli tramandati attraverso le generazioni.
Il ballo non viene rappresentato nella sua forma perfetta, ma attraverso segni essenziali che suggeriscono presenza, relazione e appartenenza. Il vino si deposita sulla tela in modo imprevedibile e vivo, lasciando emergere una materia che sembra respirare e mutare. La lana ricamata introduce il gesto umano e domestico, mentre la foglia oro illumina le imperfezioni trasformandole in valore e memoria.
L’opera diventa così una riflessione sulla bellezza dell’incompiuto e sulla forza identitaria custodita nelle cose che continuano a evolversi nel tempo.
