This work is a celebration of the human being from the inside — and specifically of the woman, as a being who carries entire worlds of dreams, memories, and feelings.
At the center of my work is a calm face, with a steady and deep gaze, while around it bursts open flowing color spaces that resemble rivers, or clouds, or thoughts that never stop forming. The face appears still, but everything around it is in continuous motion. Here I wanted to bring out the beautiful contradiction between the calmness of the outer appearance and the abundance of the inner world. The woman here is not only features. She is a universe of experiences, of emotions, of overlapping stories.
The varied colors are not random. They represent layers of the human personality. Yellow stands for hope and brightness; blue for depth and imagination; pink for tenderness and feeling; green for growth and renewal. These colors blend without strict boundaries, just as emotions and memories overlap inside us.
The painting does not speak directly of heritage or place. It speaks of the creative woman, who carries within her wide spaces of imagination, of hope, and of experience. I say through it: I am the daughter of my environment and my heritage, but I am also the daughter of my dreams, my thoughts, and my colors.
The face here can be read as a symbol of the contemporary Saudi woman — a woman rooted in her identity, yet at the same time open to creation, to change, and to shaping her own future.
