Composed of four drawings depicting fragments of the female body, Là où ça pique – Where It Hurts explores the visible and invisible marks we carry.
Needles of different sizes are inserted into the drawings, creating points of tension that may evoke wounds, scars, tattoos, injections, memories, or the marks left by words and the way we are seen.
Open to interpretation, the work reminds us that what hurts is not always visible, and not always where we expect it to be.
