Anne Falier is a Belgian sculptor whose work explores themes of identity, femininity, diversity and our relationship with the living world.
Drawn to three-dimensional expression, she works primarily with papier-mâché while remaining open to a variety of materials and techniques. Her practice is guided by a desire to transform simple and everyday elements into works that carry meaning, emotion and dialogue.
What began as a personal creative practice, filling her home with sculptures and sharing them with family and friends, gradually evolved into a public artistic journey. Since autumn 2025, Anne Falier has regularly exhibited her work, notably at the Wavre Sculpture Biennial in February 2026.
Alongside her own artistic practice, she is committed to creating opportunities for dialogue through art. In 2026, she was both artist and curator of Plurielles, a collective exhibition bringing together 38 women artists around the theme of body diversity. Presented in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium, the exhibition attracted significant public interest over a four-week period.
For Anne Falier, sculpture is a way to pause, refocus and give form to the stories, concerns and hopes that inspire her.
