This painting tries to talk about how we are interconnected but at the same time we are in solitude, since the interconnection reveals to us with the awareness that each of us has an individual path. Although our paths intertwine and intersect, our journey through life is one of loneliness. And it is not something that we should flee or avoid - how the culture has transmitted us, which emphasizes that is in the group and sociability where the belonging is found - but by accepting that each of our experiences and moments, reveal its singularity and uniqueness in solitude, which does not mean isolation. Walking the journey alone, even if we are in company, means walking one by one along the path of the many. This painting is a kind of montage of several photographs, where I portray the family, as a symbol of group coexistence, where one is absorbed by the rules, decisions, interests of the parents to the detriment of the child's unique and personal development.
