This piece is the result of working with what I call the 'silence' of the print: the counter-relief (ghost print). Instead of seeking a direct mark, I use the memory of the net left on the matrix for a second pressing onto high-grammage coated paper (Couché). Since this paper is non-absorbent, the calcographic ink stays 'floating' on the surface, creating that specific blue vibration. It is an exercise in controlled chance, where I aim for the emptiness of the net to be as significant as its presence
