Title
PLATO — Liberation
Concept
PLATO — Liberation explores the moment of departure from mediated realities and inherited systems of perception.
The figure emerges from a geometric framework that simultaneously evokes architecture, confinement, and cognitive structure. Referencing Plato’s Allegory of the Cave, the work addresses the struggle to move beyond conditioned narratives toward direct experience and critical awareness.
The sculpture reflects contemporary concerns regarding information systems, digital dependency, and the influence of algorithmic environments on human behavior. Liberation is presented not as a completed state, but as an ongoing process of questioning, movement, and transformation.
Part of Architectures of Thought.
Medium: Bronze.
Dimensions: 70.10 × 128.63 × 70.10 cm.
