TITLE
ANTHROPIC: Sculpting Artificial Minds
CONCEPT
ANTHROPIC: Sculpting Artificial Minds is part of the ongoing series Architectures of Thought, which investigates the evolution of human cognition, artificial intelligence, and systems of collective perception.
Combining sculptural anatomy, neural structures, and algorithmic forms, the work imagines an artificial mind suspended between biological memory and machine inference. Rather than depicting a machine, the sculpture proposes a speculative architecture of thought shaped by data, governance systems, and computational decision-making.
The translucent structure reveals the tension between autonomy and control while reflecting on one of philosophy's enduring questions: the relationship between rationalism and empiricism. Neural pathways, distributed intelligence, and cognitive networks converge into a single organism that examines how future intelligences may be designed, constrained, and integrated into civic life through ethical frameworks and technological mediation.
Created through a native digital sculptural workflow, the project explores the convergence of contemporary fabrication, cultural memory, and post-digital sculpture.
