Title
ANTHROPIC: Sculpting Artificial Minds
Concept
ANTHROPIC: Sculpting Artificial Minds is part of the ongoing series Architectures of Thought, which explores the evolving relationship between human cognition, artificial intelligence, and systems of collective perception.
Combining sculptural anatomy, neural structures, and algorithmic forms, the work imagines an artificial mind suspended between biological memory and machine intelligence. Rather than depicting a machine, the sculpture proposes a speculative architecture of thought shaped by data, learning systems, and computational decision-making.
Its translucent structure reveals a dynamic tension between autonomy and control, while reflecting on enduring philosophical questions concerning knowledge, consciousness, and the formation of intelligence. Neural pathways, distributed networks, and cognitive systems converge into a single organism that examines how future forms of intelligence may be designed, governed, and integrated into society.
Created through a native digital sculptural process, the work bridges contemporary fabrication, cultural memory, and post-digital sculpture, inviting reflection on the increasingly blurred boundaries between human and artificial forms of thought.
Part philosopher, part neural architecture, ANTHROPIC envisions intelligence not as a fixed entity, but as an evolving system shaped by technology, ethics, and human imagination.
