Planetics

Planetics transforms the principles of planetary motion into a tangible kinetic experience. The sculpture explores rotation, rhythm, balance, attraction and repetition through the continuous movement of its individual elements.

Rather than depicting the cosmos figuratively, it creates an autonomous spatial system in which movement generates constantly changing relationships and constellations. The work connects artistic perception with the structures of nature and the principles of mechanics. Its moving elements evoke planets and orbital systems, while remaining rooted in the physical reality of the sculpture.

Time is an essential dimension of Planetics. Its appearance changes continuously, making observation an active process of following, anticipating and discovering. Every constellation is temporary and inevitably gives rise to another.

Through this interplay of movement and form, it turns kinetic energy into an aesthetic experience: a poetic model of a universe in perpetual transformation, where balance is not a fixed state but a dynamic relationship.
