Movement and stillness

The installation consits of a kinetic sculpture and three abstract paintings.

The material of stainless steel is not about to move. But in Wolfram Wörners kinetic sculpture „Tensegrity II “ movement is the dominating visual impression. In this art installation reflecting stainless steel is flanked by enormous colourful an expressive paintings by Marion Altmann, which concentrate on movement and bring movement down to the painting ground.

Interaction begins between the circular movement of the sculpture and movement captured on canvas. Colourful reflections travel across both materials when they are illuminated by light and create the impression of one single work of art, colourful and immersive.
