This painting is about the heavy burden of unspoken words. Years in an abusive relationship forced me into absolute silence. Sometimes I feel like I am suffocating from everything I cannot say. The black ink pouring from the mouth represents how that forced silence poisoned me from the inside, but it is also about the toxic words I was forced to listen to. The deep red background symbolizes that pain, while the traditional patterns show the inner dignity I managed to keep.This artwork was officially selected for Artiade 2026
