The inspiration came from a my backpacking trip to Killarney, Ireland, where I saw horses, cattle and black-faced sheep grazing freely on the hillsides. The unrestrained and leisurely atmosphere presented a peaceful and tranquil paradise. Therefore, this painting would like to convey the joyful atmosphere of "pleasure alone is not as good as happiness among others". Different species are harmonious and share together, because the happiness shared with each other is better than owing it alone. The long-lasting love of mutual companionship is the most touching.
