Bruges is a small city in the northwest of Belgium. In terms of a canal across the city, Bruges is also called "Venice of the North" in Europe. The background of my oil painting is based on one of canals in Bruges. Sitting on the bank of the canal and enjoying the calm scenery, I start to envy the leisurely swimming ducks.
