The warmth of human hands and hearts can melt even pain into beauty.
This painting was born from a landscape I encountered after a devastating forest fire in Kazakhstan.
I made it with charcoal gathered from the scorched trees themselves.
It is not a work about blame. It is a work about what comes next. I believe that whatever we inherit — ashes, loss, or ruin — we still possess the ability to create. When we look at the world with love, we begin to heal it, and in doing so, protect the future we share.
