"Alina" is a pivotal work that marks my definitive transition to the path of a professional artist. Created in 2023, this portrait captures a moment of deep introspection and serves as a "breath of fresh air" in my career.
In 2024, this piece was awarded 1st Prize in the "Face on the Wall" national portrait competition. The jury specifically noted the work's "magnetism" and the rare balance where "emotion and feeling guide the technical mastery."
Technically, the piece explores the delicate texture of youth and character through romantic execution. The soft handling of the hair and the deliberate use of background texture create a sense of "serenity" and "completeness" rather than tension.
