Everything is a cycle, always in motion. Good
times and bad times follow each other, never stopping, never settling.
Everything has a beginning and an end. To represent the beginning, I've tried
to create a river with broad brush strokes, to give the idea of something
flowing continuously. Also, to give the impression of the depth of this river of
colours, I have applied resin on it. However, the river is surrounded by grey
shores to represent the end. This colour gives a feeling of coldness and
nothingness, as if nothing existed anymore. But even within this grey
nothingness, there is the hint of a new unexpected beginning: if we look from
another perspective, the grooves made in silicone, painted in grey, and with
drops of other colours, give the idea of the bark of a tree. Life emerges once
again from the greyness, continuing the cycle of everything.
