Ginevra lamp - handmade sugar candies

Ginevra lamp is inspired by the little italian sugar candies "Ginevrine", a memory from my childhood when my grandmother used to give me these colorfull little sugars.

The aim is to investigate forms and colors that are able to connect us with our memory and emotions,how far is the past when we are near to objects that take us back in time?

Ginevra reawakens deep and distant memories, connecting the present with the past in an almost magical way. 

Just like the Madeleine of Proust, Ginevra with its unique visual taste could be the "vehicle" that transports a person to the past, reviving memories linked to childhood, moments shared with family or long-forgotten traditions.
