Favola (Studio) is an installation that tells the story of the research and co-creation process between the beekeeper and the hive. Presented together, the pieces show the evolution of the design: from raw wooden blocks where the wax is pure, unrevealed organic geometry, to the final prototype.
The difference between the unfinished pieces and the complete one—protected by a glass dome and backlit—highlights how light is not a mere accessory, but the element that 'consecrates' the texture of the honeycomb, revealing its architecture.
This exhibition of the 'studio' embodies a small biological miracle: all the pieces were produced simultaneously by a single colony, a testament to how nature never standardizes its forms, not even within the same hive.
Through the soft transparency of the wax, the illuminated work sparks fantasy and dreams, fulfilling the deepest and most intimate vocation of a fairy tale: guiding the imagination into the night.
