My name is Nitzotz, and I am a young product designer with a unique toolset and approach.
I see myself as an experimental designer, who specializes in morphological and material research. I aspire to go beyond the ordinary boundaries, explore and discover, innovate and break patterns.
I travel a lot around the world- I love getting to know new cultures, traditions, landscapes and people, and most of my designs and creations take inspiration from nature and from my travels.
I have a rich background in the arts, having studied fine arts: sculpting and painting for years before coming into design, which I believe gives me a bit of an out of the ordinary perception of what is product and industrial design. My work exists on the spectrum between deep dive scientific research to material explorations and playful character creation.
Since my graduation (2018- Cum Laude) I opened my own design studio (Studio Pitz) and had participated in several exhibitions and art fairs. Beforehand I took part in ERASMUS+ activities, such as research assistant for the “CLEVER” project (Creative Leadership & Entrepreneurship). I also functioned as a teaching assistant and a workshop operator at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design- in which I studied. In addition, I took part in Bezalel’s chosen alumni incubator program- “The Hamama”.
