Lisa Perraymond is an Italian-Luxembourgish painter based in Luxembourg since 1994.
Formed through an independent and self-taught path, her practice is rooted in a deep commitment to artistic authenticity and remaining faithful to her inner vision.
She does not approach painting with a predetermined plan. Sitting before the empty canvas, she waits, observes, and responds intuitively to what emerges. The painting leads the process rather than illustrating an idea conceived in advance.
Working primarily with acrylic pigments, sand, salt, quartz pastes, metallic elements, and reclaimed materials, she creates works that range from richly textured surfaces to more minimal and fluid compositions.
Rather than adhering to a specific style or movement, she allows each work to find its own form and language.
For Perraymond, meaning arrives after the painting, not before it. The artwork is not the illustration of a concept but the trace of an encounter between attention, intuition, matter, and perception. In this sense, the work remains open, inviting viewers to bring their own memories, associations, and ways of seeing.
She holds a degree with honors in Communication Sciences from the University of Siena.
In 2024, she was selected for the Premio Internazionale Artista d’Europa, exhibiting at Palazzo Pucci and Galleria Cartavetra in Florence.
In 2026, her artwork Imprint: Remembering was recognized as a "Chief Curator’s Pick" and featured in the Best of April collection by Saatchi Art.
Lisa Perraymond è una pittrice italo-lussemburghese attiva in Lussemburgo dal 1994. Il suo percorso, indipendente e autodidatta, è guidato da una profonda urgenza di autenticità e fedeltà alla propria visione interiore.
La sua pratica esclude qualsiasi pianificazione preliminare: davanti alla tela bianca, l'artista osserva e risponde intuitivamente a ciò che emerge. È il dipinto stesso a guidare il processo creativo, piuttosto che illustrare un'idea concepita in anticipo.
Lavorando principalmente con pigmenti acrilici, sabbia, sale, paste di quarzo, elementi metallici e materiali di recupero, crea opere che spaziano da superfici riccamente materiche a composizioni più minimali e fluide. Piuttosto che aderire a uno stile o a un movimento specifico, lascia che ogni opera trovi la propria forma e il proprio linguaggio.
Per Perraymond il significato arriva dopo il dipinto, non prima. L'opera d'arte non è l'illustrazione di un concetto, ma la traccia di un incontro tra attenzione, intuizione, materia e percezione. In questo senso il lavoro rimane aperto, invitando gli osservatori a portare i propri ricordi, associazioni e modi di vedere.
Laureata con lode in Scienze della Comunicazione presso l'Università di Siena. Nel 2024 è stata selezionata per il Premio Internazionale Artista d’Europa, esponendo a Firenze presso Palazzo Pucci e la Galleria Cartavetra.
