Claude Jones is a visual artist whose work explores the uneasy relationship between humans and the natural world. Through hybrid, mutant, and anthropomorphised animal forms, she creates sculptural and mixed media works that critique systems of control, domestication, and denial. Her practice is rooted in narrative and metaphor, inviting reflection on moral contradiction and complicity.
Originally from New Zealand, Jones developed her art career in Australia and has exhibited widely both nationally and internationally. She has participated in ten international artist residencies and has received multiple grants and scholarships in support of her work. Her pieces are held in significant public and private collections. Jones is currently based in Munich, Germany.
