Untitled_Lofoten Series is a digital work created in Microsoft Excel, made while traveling through the Lofoten Islands in northern Norway. It is not a literal landscape, but it carries some of the feeling of that place — sharp light, rough weather, water, rock, and sudden shifts in color.
The image is built from blocks of color, drawn lines, and layered shapes. A central green form sits between landscape, animal, eye, and memory — something seen quickly, or half-recognized after the fact. The surrounding marks feel both structural and unstable, like a view being assembled and interrupted at the same time.
I was interested in making something that felt partly natural, partly mechanical, and partly imagined. The work uses Excel as a drawing space rather than a spreadsheet, pushing a rigid digital tool into something more physical, imperfect, and intuitive.
