Plate AR 10/09— Vascular & Structural Analysis explores the tree as a living system, where botanical structure mirrors human anatomy. Inspired by Quercus robur, the work translates xylem and phloem into a visual language of veins and flows, merging scientific diagram and emotional landscape.
Rendered in a blueprint aesthetic with graphite and deep blues, the composition balances precision and intuition: measurements, sections, and data coexist with an almost visceral presence. Roots expand like neural networks, the trunk becomes a central axis of tension, and the canopy unfolds as a system of breath and exchange.
