The World's Weather Diary is a collection of 121 postcards coming from 33 different Countries across the world, from a total of 160 people from 43 different Countries that registered to received a kit. Each kit contained instructions, 2 postcards and 2 origami boxes to create an ice cube that had to be placed on top of the postcard to record the weather on 21st September 2024. Each participant had to record the weather information, like temperature, humidity, time (from ice cube exposure to melting), and geographical location. Then, each participant had to send back one of the postcards. All the kits were sent using traditional mail and were stamped with the Verona's Arena special postage stamp cancellation. The artwork started as a digital interaction between people from different Countries and cultures, and ended with a personal interaction between the artist and the participants as they added personal thoughts and gifts. This interaction propagated also within the participants that shared the experience with children, family and friends.
