Greetings from Munich

This is a series of seven painting representing a stroll done in the summer of 2023 during an artistic residency in the Munich area of Neuhausen-Nymphenburg. The house in front of the residency was once inhabited by Lilo Lilo Fürst-Ramdohr, a member of the Nazi resistance known as the Weiße Rose. In the same area there were several accommodations that "hosted" forced laborers during the Third Reich (1). Following the map produced by photographer Hadas Tapouchi, I have decided to picture and faithfully paint these places. These seven paintings have then become postcards between the past and the present.
