Mnemonic : Humming

Mnemonic: humming is one of the results of the Mnemonic Workshop with Bora KIM, Dasom OH and the actors of the Théâtre du Cristal. This sound installation use humming or sounds made from chosen words during the workshop. They are broadcast in a tube and participate in the creation of a tool to evoke personal memories and emotions that language has not reached. The sound that was submerged in the water reverberates, touches the fragments of the moment left on the other side of the memory and returns to us. Through the sound transmitted from the bass tone speaker and the way the water vibrates, I hope the viewer will remember the afterimages of memories and traces.
