A postcard is preserved in the form of a stone where the sedimentation is visible, and the postcard can be read through the cut and polished face. I have selected postcards which are messages to wish a happy new year and at the same time, often include personal stories.
These resin stones were installed with sand to give people the experience of digging and discovering by removing and cleaning them. This facility is also used during a performance. The goal is to show the gesture of digging and digging up stones from this pile of sand to share the fragment of a person's memory. During the performance, I read the postcards and then I placed them in the space while dragging them.
