When you look long into an abyss, the abyss looks into you.
Nature nurtures human beings. When people are in a relatively pure natural environment, it is very easy to fall into self-isolation and start meditation. At that moment, we usually have strong self-consciousness when we can feel the integration of our spirit and nature, hearing the echoes from nature and feeling like we are having a conversation with ourselves, our bodies are filled with some invisible power. This is an experience which cannot be simply described by words.
After half year’s manual silk screen printing, A Pool & A Scheme has recreated “nature” in the gallery by transferring the context and taking off the complex surface. With the help of “Shallow Waters and Surging Waves”, this art work restored the special appeal of nature to human spirits. By having a conversation with the “nature”, people can achieve the purpose of talking to the inner side of themselves. By doing so, this work leads people to explore the human spirits and the nature of existence, and further think about the relationship between human and society and nature.
