【About the work】
This work was created with a focus on the fragmentation of the body, the internal space contained within it, and perceptual memory.
It is part of the Zero Gram series, which sets aside the weight carried by a physical entity and pursues the traces of what was once contained within the shell left behind. This work bears the title Insoluble Simulated Dream.
The frame was custom-made from black walnut and finished with hand-carved indentations. The warmth of the wood, contrasting with the work’s restrained visual presence, slowly resonates with it, giving rise to a continual movement back and forth between the two.

【Artistic Philosophy】
The body transformed into a planar image, through deconstruction and reconstruction, acquires a new form and is endowed with its own depth and dynamic materiality.
I aim to engage the viewer’s own bodily memory, which retains memories of perception, and to create a unique creative space between the work and the viewer.
