Since I was a child I followed the path of my grandmothers, my aunts and my mother, into being a woman.
Over time I imprinted on my unconscious, which gradually surfaced to the point of becoming intelligible, joys, sorrows, bonds and responsibilities of the feminine world to which I belong.
Femininity was the shapeless core that I wanted to bring to light and I knew a quarry it would have been the only place where I could find this primitive mass.
These photos are a reflection on what it means to be a woman, on obligations and expectations that she first imposes herself.
