After studying Anthropological Sciences at the University of Bologna and becoming a self-taught photographer, she earned a Fine Art B/W certificate from the Fondazione Studio Marangoni | Center for Contemporary Photography in Florence, and later graduated from the Istituto Italiano di Fotografia in Milan.
Her stylistic signature lies in a symbolic representation of her own inner worlds in dialogue with those of the people in front of her camera. A recurring element in her work is the creation of metaphysical mise-en-scènes of the feminine being, where her own experiences, fears, and dreams enter into a conversation with those of the women she portrays, ultimately transforming into images that narrate archetypes and universal stories.
