After studying Anthropological Sciences at the University of Bologna, she obtained a B/W Fine Art certificate from the Fondazione Studio Marangoni | Centro di fotografia contemporanea in Florence and graduated from the Istituto Italiano di Fotografia in Milan.
Her photographic research path begins as self-taught by the origins of the medium, that is the black and white analogue of the camera obscura, thanks to which she discovers a magical world that she feels it represents her thoroughly.
Over the years her language evolves into a personal chromatic lexicon that, while exploiting the possibilities of digital, is always at the service of photographic composition rather than actual post-production.
Her stylistic code consists in the balance between an empathic approach with subjects forced to the margins of life and a conceptual representation of their psychic worlds, in the desire to create an osmosis between artist, portrait subject and audience.
Recently her work has been oriented towards a metaphysical mise-en-scène of the feminine being, putting aside the interpretation of the subjective intimacy for the representation of an ontological condition.
