I invite scientist, scholars or
teachers active in the area of Sciences to collaborate in the creation of a
work through the intervention of photographs taken by me at times when I wanted
to remember a purely sensorial or contemplative experience.
Western culture has indoctrinated us
an instrumental knowledge in which the hard sciences determine the exact, the
certainties, the real. Therefore, scientific exemplary expressions, which
ultimately are just abstractions of processes, phenomena and operations, carry
the historical weight of confidence and legitimacy in its application. How much
reality is far from a scientific stance of aesthetic?
Paradigms is a series that reflects
on these frontiers of representation. The realities symbolized from various
fields of knowledge or technical show apparently contrasting visual results,
even when they are describing the same landscape. Languages overlap creating a
hybrid landscape complex, which produces estrangement. The question is to the truth,
the axiom, what we mean by Paradigm.
