Pachamama

This image, born from a research project exploring deities from mythologies around the world, offers a personal interpretation of Pachamama, the ancestral Mother Earth figure of Andean traditions.

Through the use of a mirror effect, the flower transforms into a symbolic, almost sacred presence. Its symmetry reveals an imaginary face, an organic entity where the vegetal, the living, and the spiritual converge. This creation invites the viewer to contemplate nature not as a mere backdrop, but as a primordial force, carrying memory and transformation.

Situated between photography and mythological reinvention, this work pays tribute to Pachamama as a symbol of a world in which the sacred emerges through our gaze upon the living.
