BLACK OXYGEN | VIBRANT is the manifestation of density. In this radical transition by Sara Franci, oxygen betrays its transparent lightness to become a dark substance: a corrupted breath that does not sustain life, but presses, sculpts, and deforms it. It is the weight of a lived experience transformed into dense air—an intense compression necessary for the transformation of the self.
In Vibrant, this pressure finds its escape route upward. At the center of the triptych, organic matter ceases to endure and instead rises: a monumental black leaf that breaks through the darkness and asserts itself as an axis of strength. It is a presence that does not ask for space but conquers it, becoming the point of suture between our divine and material parts—the only identity that survives the natural cycle.
The rest of the narrative is a hand-to-hand encounter with the unaltered image, present in its full integrity. Elements are sublimated in their essential, sinuous, and raw form.
