LENIN666 (5 parts)

When I was a little girl, my grandmother showed that if you make the name Lenin with mathes you can change it into 666. In the performance, I do this at the

monument to Lenin, first I make his name and then put the matches into 666, after that I burn the number.

This performance is to be done in different cities and towns. This will be a number of video documentations, using different Soviet songs about Lenin as sound for the

video.

In the project I investigate the secret knowledge of what the historical perspective is. The result is a certain ritual, the act of faggoting the Lenin’s way of

development, the Soviet past.
