Living
is not just occupying spaces, but creating worlds.
My work
focused on the need to enter into a relationship with the environment that
surrounds me. This tension towards space is not purely physical, but is rooted
in a symbolic and emotional dimension.
Space
becomes an extention of identity: it is not about ‘occupying’ a place, but
about inhabiting it in the deepest sense, that means emotions and memories. The
spaces of intimacy are the real containers of our imagination: they help us
think, dream, remember.
The house,
like all the environments we pass through, is not a simple casing, but becomes
a living membrane in dialogue the the outside. Living is no longer a neutral
gesture, but a form of creation: a way to transform space into place, full of
values, memories and presences. ‘Crossing places’ is a poetic and creative act,
when we give shape to space we give shape to ourselves.
