I painted this as a dream, where the telephone box became a symbol of reaching out across distance, memory, and silence. In the dream, the little people and the pizza trees felt like beings and forms I was trying to communicate with, as if the whole landscape was alive with hidden messages.
The red phone box sits at the center of that imagined world, acting like a bridge between the visible and the invisible. Around it, the strange figures and shifting trees create a sense of connection that is fragile, uncertain, and deeply emotional. The painting became a way for me to translate that dream into image, turning communication into something symbolic, intuitive, and transcendent.
