Acrylic and household paint on neodymium magnets and galvanized steel sheet
95 × 95 cm
This work approaches painting as a field of potential rather than a completed composition. The square steel support establishes a stable framework within which painted magnetic elements remain free to migrate, combine, and separate through the actions of each participant.
No single arrangement is privileged. Every configuration is temporary, existing only until another encounter produces a different set of relationships. Composition becomes a continuous process of emergence rather than resolution.
By separating painted matter from the permanence of the picture plane, the work proposes painting as an adaptive system capable of endless recombination. Stability and instability, order and chance, individual agency and collective participation coexist within the same visual field, allowing the painting to evolve through the cumulative presence of those who engage with it.
